As the former CEO of Empower Yoga, Sondra trained yoga teachers in practical, alignment-based movement to reduce injury risk and build long-term strength and resilience. Today, as CEO and lead trainer at Balance Orlando, she continues this mission—working directly with clients while also training massage therapists in advanced bodywork, integrative techniques, and sustainable practices for career longevity.
Although Sondra is not a chiropractor and does not perform chiropractic adjustments, she has attended hundreds of hours of continuing education courses designed for chiropractors alongside her husband, who is a practicing chiropractor. These experiences allowing her to better understand spinal mechanics, postural patterns, and the philosophy behind chiropractic care. This additional knowledge enriches her work as a Rolfer® and massage therapist, helping her collaborate effectively with chiropractors, other healthcare professionals and support clients seeking integrative pain relief solutions.
Beyond formal education, Sondra is committed to personally exploring a variety of holistic health practices to deepen her perspective. She has experienced acupuncture, herbalism, salt therapy, chiropractic care, shockwave therapy, red light therapy, and more. She believes that feeling these modalities firsthand not only improves her own self-care but also enriches her ability to guide clients toward effective integrative wellness strategies.
Sondra believes the secret to being a truly exceptional therapist goes beyond professional training. It requires not only prioritizing world-class education and learning as much as possible about holistic approaches to healing pain and tension, but also living the work—dedicating yourself to self-care through a lifestyle that embraces movement, bodywork, variety, meditation, and balance. This personal commitment allows her to show up for clients with deeper empathy, authenticity, and effectiveness.
With her unique blend of advanced training, analytical mindset, and personal healing journey, Sondra is dedicated to helping clients achieve lasting relief from pain, improved mobility, better posture, and greater overall well-being.
