Meegan Descheneaux, LMT, MA89880
Rolfer
Meegan is a passionate individual who loves guiding people towards sensing real changes in their bodies. Inspired by the work of Ida P. Rolf and other prominent fascia experts, Meegan wholeheartedly believes that to have an effective manual therapy experience, the foundation is communication and the willingness to participate in your own healing journey.
A graduate of The Dr. Ida Rolf Institute with over 25 years of experience in fascia and movement education, Meegan has worn many hats as a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, a licensed massage therapist in Florida, presenter, mentor, and educator for The MELT Method.
Meegan joined Balance Orlando in 2021 and has continued to expand her bodywork repertoire with modalities such as assisted stretching and decompression cupping, and obtained certifications in John Barnes Myofascial Release I, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage through The Academy of Lymphatic Studies, and Rolfing Structural Integration.
When she’s not using her body-savvy education to help you thrive, she’s lifting weights, practicing vinyasa yoga, singing professionally, or using the MELT Method techniques for recovery and aging gracefully.
